Alex graduated from the 9 week Global Solutions Programme 2017 by Singularity University, based at NASA Ames Research Park in Silicon Valley, USA from June to August 2017, kindly fully sponsored by Google, Deloitte and Becton-Dickinson.
Alex reflects, “It was one of the most intense educational experience. In my opinion, the programme gave me a familiarity with the future – of medicine, science, technology, education and finance – from flying cars to Bitcoin to our tragic impact on the planet, climate change. Together we looked for solutions. Although this wasn’t even the best part. The best part was living, studying and breathing the future with 90 epic and exceptional ninja-jedi characters from 47 countries, more than friends, a new family was formed #GSP17. Now there isn’t a country in the world we can’t reach”.
